It is with no suprise that any team that looses the amount of first team regulars and experienced players that we have lost within a short period of time will find it challenging to maintain positive results during its initial period.
 
The Topklasse is a tough league in which you will find a good blend of quality overseas professional and/or coaches amongst some good local talent. The successful teams in the league bear testimony that. Even though we do not boast with the same balance of power of other teams, we are proving to grow at a rapid pace. It is evident to those who have followed our games closely and have been present at the field of play since the start of season. With Tom De Grooth leading from the front with some very powerful starts to our innings' and Bart Kuiperi and Maurits Jonkman backing him up, along with good bowling from the young guns in Olivier Klaus and Ali Qasim we are starting to tick the boxes to more positive results. With our strike bowler in Reinier Bijloos back and the experienced head of Max Canters proving to be the find of the season we are starting to shape up nicely for the rest of the season.
 
It will be a tough season yes, but it will be one in which we lay the foundation for a brighter and more positive future as the next wave ply their trade in what has been a successful campaign thus far in the Eerste Klasse.They already boast 3 fifties from Reinier Kalis, Hidde Overdijk and Friso Spoelstra amongst others.
 

We, as a club, should remain positive throughout the season during this transitional period.
