For those who don’t know me, I’m Ella Stallwood HCCs Aussie recruit for the season. Previously playing premier ones at Melbourne Cricket Club, getting back into bowling after a season break, focusing on becoming an allrounder.

Also, a friend of Phebe Molkenboer who I hosted during her summer in Melbourne 1,5 years ago.

Holland is special place as it is where my grandfather was born so it will be nice to see family and explore this country more while I’m here.

Friday 9 May, VCC Home

Off to a flyer in game two after a rough start in game one of the season. Batting first against VCC, saw Phebe (86*) and Fre (70) off to great start putting on a clinical display. Finishing the innings on 3/183, setting a large target for VCC to chase.

Iris started us off with the ball, taking a key wicket of Babette De Leede in the first over. Lara and Phebe pitching in with a wicket each. Fré and Libby cashed in with 3 and 4 wickets each helping us bowl them out for 101 in the 19th over.
