HVV F8 - DSO F7 1-2

After a promising start with some spectacular combinations it was Iram who opened the score after a stunning driehoekje between Tjerk and Faisal.

If I remember correctly it was at this point in time that our super coach of last year predicted a walk-over. Due to a lot of experience as a former player and coach I tried to warn Ernst Jan that this would be a difficult game, but nevertheless EJ stayed convinced.

Sadly he was proven wrong. Although Marco made some super safes DSO managed to slip one goal in just before half-time. The second half we struggled for the first 10 minutes and we were unlucky to go 2-1 down. The second part of the second half we were by far the better team and we really pressed for an equalizer. The defence with Arthur, Baptist and Ollie made absolutely sure that DSO stayed away from our goal and if by chance DSO managed to slip through Klaas made sure that they could not score. Although we created some good chances our finishing was not as good as it normally is. All in all we deserved more then we got. Luckily we really beat DSO in the penalty kick competition.
